GURU is the stuff of dreams, the cushion of idealism. It is film where heroes succeed challenging all chances and where junior gophers in Shell tracksuits happen to address stadium-fulls of venerating shareholders. What's more, it comes complete with melodies, tossed in with unexpected forsake. 

With the exception of, since this is Bollywood, we've seen everything some time recently. Clothes to newfound wealth stories possess large amounts of the unbelievable tune and-move planet our stars wiggle around in, and we have seen heroes surprised everyone in the vicinity to end up superheroes, much the same as we've seen them battle 81 hoodlums outfitted with their mother's gifts. Challenge to dream, it advertises gladly, yet isn't that the ethical of virtually every masala Bollywood pikchur? 

Of course, Guru is a Mani Ratnam film. Which immediately guarantees restriction and authenticity in the film and a just about quieted veneration in the crowd. The film stops a couple of inches short of being a biopic, however the chief presents his character, Guru Kant Desai, with enough profundity to make him feel as fragile living creature and-blood as you or me. Abhishek Bachchan plays the junior Gujarati kid with stars in his eyes and an intemperate urge to warm his pockets. In the wake of arriving himself an occupation in Turkey (and romping with the matchlessly spellbinding Mallika Sherawat) he works his path up the corporate chain, before he chooses he's got to start a new business for himself. "Bijness," Guru'd say. Choosing to wed his closest companion's sister in light of the settlement he can bundle as his beginning capital, our heading man strikes gold as he ends up a loyal, unquestionably pretty wife in the deal, played by Aishwarya Rai. 

A still from Guruthen comes his ascent, with bunches of luck. Unusually, Mani picks not to harp excessively on his ascension itself, liking to demonstrate to us bits of triumph blended with A R Rahman's staggering music - which, hence, very nearly dependably overpowers the film around it. So while we have adolescent Guru seeing through a session of mugs and-balls at a Turkish reasonable and Guru cleverly winning himself a pivotal exchanging participation on the fairway, the occurrences take a swing at a moderate cut, short disclosures or understanding, with the greater part of the activity lying in Guru's freshly composed exchange, the model talking practically only in punchlines.
